NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. Already reaching the record-breaking numbers of the year 2019, he stated. The United States is our most important market for Israel's inbound tourism. Canada is in the process, like the United States, to surpass its tourist arrivals into Israel. In July 2022 Canada had 7,200 visitors while August saw the number increase to 6,000.
